What is the point of Andy Carroll

Today he was so lucky not to be sent off, he's learnt nothing from being sent off earlier in the season, 1 minute in he jumps on the run leading with his elbow splitting their CB's nose, bllod everywhere and very lucky not to at least get booked.
He then petulantly kicks out at one of their players, he then did it later on in the first half.
His stats this season are no goals, he has by far the worst pass accuracy in the team and the worst shot accuracy rating.
Oh and he slagged us off, apart fromt hat he's great!

Awful today. Seemed to be on a mission to be sent off. There was one point when he had the ball around the halfway line with about 3 team mates near him for a simple pass he decides to hammer it all the way back to Hart. It was so misplaced Hart did well to stop it going for a corner. Summed up his 'quality' for me right there

Stupid elbow at the start.
However, that Watford player kicked him three times in a row with nothing given before he kicked him back. Stupid but I really don;t blame him if the ref isn't going to do his job. They were baiting him all afternoon. It is up to him to resist it though.
He's been poor overall especially in terms of goals, but we're creating absolutely fuck all for ANY striker at the moment. Chicharito has hardly been banging them in for fun. Chances are VERY few and far between. I can't blame Carroll for our utter lack, as a team, of creating anything for him to score from. The midfield are far more culpable than the strikers.

As said he quite easily could have got another Burnley style red today (or what should have been a straight red at Burnley).
That is beyond belief for an experienced professional

I was really hoping that Moyes would turn over a new leaf and leave Carroll on the bench, and try to play on the floor and build a successful team including some of our younger players. Hasn’t he seen any recordings of our earlier matches?
Carroll should have been subbed as soon as he kicked out after being robbed of the ball and got a yellow. He is a liability - a red card waiting to happen. I hope he never starts another game.
